NADA Governors Island

Solo Presentation: Tyler Healy

NADA House
May 2 – August 4, 2019

Tyler Healy’s work examines the delicate and often fraught relationships between society and the natural world. Drawing on modes of production and circulation that define our era, Healy invites viewers to consider the cultural tensions embedded in the everyday objects and symbols that we share. For this project, Healy places two enlarged US quarters alongside supporting objects that are specifically inspired by the history and environment of Governor’s Island.
